This STUNNING 1930's marching bass drum will make an incredible addition to your arsenal, whilst being very easy on the eye!
Whilst the drum doesn't come with any badge or branding, from researching I believe it is a Carlton from the 1930s, due to the slightly flattened balls of the tube lugs, which can be seen on other Carlton bass drums from the same period.
This vintage bass drum features a ~27x11.5" 1-ply steam bent mahogany shell with mahogany re-rings. The drum comes with original calf skin heads which have unparalleled low end!
The drum has been completely stripped down, cleaned, serviced, the wood has been fed with 100% bees wax, the heads cleaned and moisturised. This drum will be a beautiful addition to a studio, both as a drum, and as a sub-bass to bring out the low end of the room.
