A classic! This Tama Imperialstar from around 1982 is definitely a players grade kit, but WHAT a kit it is!
Used by some of the biggest names in drumming, the Tama Imperialstar is a powerhouse of a kit, made of 9-plys of select mahogany wood, with Tama's signature Zola coat on the interior.
The kit is made up of a 22x16" bass drum, 13x9 and 14x10" rack toms and an 18x16" floor tom, all finished in M-53 Metallic White wrap.
The kit has been completely stripped, given a platinum service, and reassembled. The 18" tom has brand new top and bottom hoops as the originals were beyond saving. The kit comes with bass drum spurs, floor tom legs and tom holder. The tom holder has had one of the arms replaced with a Premier arm, and performs superbly.
