Here we have a newly serviced Tama Swingstar 14x5" steel snare drum. This drum is an early Tama, made in Japan (MIJ), and is one of the very early 3 stripe models that can be seen as early as the 1976 catalogue (see last photo).
The drum comes with all original hardware including internal dampener. It has been stripped, cleaned, the tension rods have been lubricated, and the drum has been fitted with a brand new Evans G1 coated snare head, and 20-strand phosphorous snare wires.
This is a superb sounding snare, that would fit perfectly into any level drummers arsenal, be it a beginner looking to upgrade, or a professional looking for a different sound.
