Just look at this beauty-of-a-snare!
Here we have a very rare Slingerland model '201' Spitfire snare drum from 1979. The snare hosts a whopping 12 lugs(!), with a 14x5.5" 5-ply maple shell, Slingerland's 'Rapid' strainer, Stick-Saver Hoops, and original internal tone control, this snare will be an absolute workhorse in the studio or out on the road.
This snare has been given a full service to ensure it will be rock solid on stage for years to come (photos are pre-service). It has some signs of use, but is in great condition for its age. The snare comes fitted with a Remo Coated Ambassador batter head and Ludwig Snare Side head.
