Premier Projector MKI 5-Piece Drum Kit in Piano Black - Mid 1980’s

Here we have a classic looking Premier Projector drum kit in very good condition, with its art deco lugs and piano black finish.

Kit Sizes: 10x9” (5 lug), 12x10” (6 lug), 13x11” (6 lug), 16x16” (8 lug), 22x16” (10 lug)

The shells are 3-ply Finnish Birch with Beech re-rings. These drums were built to last, and project fantastically (the clue is in the name!), with the bass drum having a 4-ply shell. 

The kit has been fully stripped, serviced and polished, and comes fitted with partially used Remo Pinstripe Ebony batter heads and Premier CL resonant heads. The bass drum comes fitted with it's original 1980s logo head. There is a small tear in the wrap on the 16" floor tom which can be (just) seen in the photos. This is barely noticeable from the stage and is purely cosmetic.

This is a heck of a lot of drum for the money, perfect for both live and studio drumming, and comes with floor tom legs and rack tom mount, plus additional tom mount for the 10” tom.
