This stunning 1930s Premier Dominion Minor 14x6.5" snare is a real piece of history, and sounds incredible. It has all original parts, including its chrome over brass shell, 8 self aligning lugs, full single snare mechanism, floating stamped hoops, snare wires and tension rods.
The snare has been fully stripped and serviced, and comes fitted with a partially used Remo Ambassador coated batter head to keep the snare's vintage vibe, with an a Premier Everplay Snare Side head, and original Premier 20-strand wires. There is one lug nut that has threaded, meaning one tension rod on the bottom head does not tighten. I will try and replace it if I can find a matching one, however this is something to note.
There were some ripped out sections of a diary from 1946 inside the drum, which I have kept with the drum as part of its history.
