This stunning 1930's Premier De Luxe Model 14x5" snare came to us needing a bit of TLC. The nickel over brass shell and 8 tub lugs are all original, and the stainer has been replaced with a John Grey throw off that is also from the 1930s (see extra holes in photos).
The tension rods, claws and hoops are all brand new replacements, keeping the original look and feel of the drum with more reliability.
Fitted with a brand new Remo Ambassador coated batter head to keep the snare's vintage vibe, with a Remo Ambassador Hazy Snare Side head, and Puresound 16-strand wires. The drum head collars have been painted to emulate the look of calf skin heads. Comes with original hoops included as extra, however one has a crack in it.
