Pearl Masters are one of the best known and highly regarded drum models from over the years, and the 'gold badge' 90s snares are some of the finest! This Masters Custom snare drum has a 4-ply, 5mm air cured and aged 100% Maple shell, giving us warm, resonant tones with sharp attack, excellent projection and evenly distributed midrange with exceptional low end depth.
The snare features Pearl's SR-020 three point strainers, very reliable and with the option of 3 pre-set snare wire tensions. The hoops have been upgraded for 2.3mm single flanged hoops with matching claws, giving an incredibly classic look to the snare. The rest of the drum is fully original.
The snare has been stripped, cleaned, serviced and fitted with a lightly used Code Zero Coated batter head, Code Snare Side head, and 42-strand snare wires!
