Made by expert drum tech and builder Joe Cusatis at his New York Modern Drum Shop. Modern Drum Shop was known for building custom orders using their supply of shells and hardware specified at the customers request. These drums became very popular amongst Broadway drummers and NYC show drummers.
Based on research and appearance I believe this is an all maple shell, most likely sourced from Keller. The snare has Gretsch bridge lugs and a Pearl throw off that works very well.
The snare has been cleaned and serviced, and is fitted with a brand new coated batted head, brand new Evans 300 Snare Side head, and dry 42-strand snare wires.
