These Zanki hi-hats are articulate, with a lovely wash, a real corking set of hi-hats!
Zanki (originally Zanchi) were an Italian maker of cymbals, founded in 1947, crafting superb sounding cymbals by hand. This set of hi-hats is difficult to date due to lack of information available, however I would place them 1960s - 70s.
They seem to be made of B20 alloy, and sound superb when played on their own or with a groove. The cymbals have some oxidisation, however this is purely cosmetic.
