This Trixon Luxus kit is a definite plays-grade kit which would be perfect in the studio.
Trixon were a German company making some incredible and whacky drums (see Trixon Telstar & Trixon Speedfire). The Luxus was a more 'traditional' set, with lovely Beech shells. The toms have dampeners on the batter heads, and the bass drum has a very cool dampener on the batter head also.
The kit is made up of a 13x8" rack tom, 16x16" floor tom and a 20x15.5" bass drum. There is definitely plenty of signs of use, some areas of rust (mainly on tension rods, floor tom legs and bass drum legs). This is reflected in the price.
The kit has been given a clean and service, and comes with partially used Remo Coated Ambassadors on the toms, and a Remo clear Pinstripe on the bass drum, with brand new single ply coated bass drum head and felt on the reso.
