This 'Big Black Steel' 14x8" snare from Tama certainly has power written all over it. With a 1mm steel shell finished with a satin black matte look, it not only sounds the part, but looks it too.
A serious rock snare, providing maximum volume and projection, with a huge amount of depth (literally!), this snare is for someone looking to cut through the band. Tuned low, mid or high, this snare performs very well.
With Tama's Steel Mighty Hoops, high tension lugs, and upgraded 42-strand snare wires wires, this snare will hold it's own on the road. As this is a used drum, there are some signs of use, including a ares where the black coating has worn on one of the lugs and the hoops (pictured). These are purely cosmetic.
The snare has had a service and comes fitted with partially used heads.
