The Tama King Beat was introduced in 1977 with a black mechanism housing, which quickly was changed to a metal finish. These pedals feature 'Indestructible Compression Springs', a One-Touch rim clamp, sealed spring housing, and a newly designed footboard (at the time).
These bass drum pedals were built to last. This pedal has been cleaned and serviced in-house at Horny's Drums, and comes with it's original felt bass drum beater.
