A stunning, classic, British built snare drum from 1959.
This Premier Hi-fi 14x5.5" 3-ply birch snare drum with beech re-rings, finished in a stunning aged white marine pearl (WMP), comes with 10 cast lugs, Die Cast hoops and original internal tone control and tension rods.
The strainer has been replaced with a slightly later version of the 632 throw off, as the original was broken, but no extra holes were drilled in the shell. The tension rods have been upgraded to standard square tension rods, however the originals can be included in the sale if requested.
The drum has been fully strip cleaned and serviced in house at Horny's Drums, it sounds incredible! It is fitted with a partially used Remo Ambassador coated batter head, a Remo Ambassador Hazy Snare Side head, and 20-strand snare wires.
