This Black Panther Snare Drum from Mapex is a corker, with a 1.2mm hammered nickel over brass shell and comes with 24K gold plated hardware!
This snare is definitely players grade, and has some stress-lines around some of the lugs (pictured). However, the snare sounds excellent, slightly more delicate than a steel shell, with the body that a 6.5" shell brings. The snare wires have had one removed that had stretched.
The drum has been cleaned, tension rods re-greased, and is fitted with a new Remo Coated UT head, and slightly used Remo Ambassador Hazy snare side head.
